Friday nights on Fountain Square. Beer sales start at 6:30. Live music shortly thereafter.

Why do the beer sales start at 6:30? Shouldn't they start at 5:00 to capture the happy hour crowd?

The crowd was sparse at 6:30 but filled up as the night progressed and was fairly diverse. Tonight the weather was perfect and the Reds game was on the big screen for the multi-taskers in the crowd. Runners from the block party on Sycamore spilled over and a larger crowd was expected after the Reds game.

It was the perfect weekend warm-up for Bluesfest tomorrow night.
